My baby girl is 4 1/2 months already. Where does the time go!?! We went home to Orlando for almost two weeks in July and had a blast as always! I miss living there with our families and friends! Bailey had her first trip to SeaWorld and Downtown Disney and met a TON of new people! She screamed on the plane ride down but was amazing on the ride back.. not a peep!
The beginning of August brought her 4 month shots :( I actually teared up a little this time. I was much better the first time around. She weighed in at 12 lbs, 9 oz and 24 1/4 inches long. She went down in percentile a little but not enough to worry. She is so much fun now! She changes everyday and I am so thankful that I am able to be a stay at home mommy and not miss a minute of it! The colic is gone.... FINALLY!! I really didn't notice a big difference until after the 4 month mark. She is all smiles all day long now! She is taking naps now.. short naps but still naps and I think it makes a much happier baby! We started a bedtime a little over a week ago and it is going pretty well. She is asleep by 9 most nights but usually earlier (between 8-9). Here are some Bailey updates..
-She has rolled over from tummy to back and back to tummy but it has only happened a couple times so far.
-I can now ride with her in the car by myself! That may not be a huge deal for most new moms but with my little screamer it was a big accomplishment!! We run lots of errands now!
-She loves her bumbo! It has been amazing! I carry it around the house so she can sit and watch me do whatever I'm doing.
-She takes most of her naps in her swing
-We got her a jump-e-roo this month and it's growing on her! She liked it in the beginning but didn't love it hah. Now she seems to be enjoying it more!
-She laughs a lot now! I LOVE it! I get the best laughs when I surprise her with a big "HEY" or "YUCKY" (when we're changing diapers) or whatever I am saying to her if I do it big and fast she laughs! She looks almost scared then busts out laughing!
-She still doesn't like anyone but Mommy holding her. We're working on this but it's not getting any better. I am just so much cooler than everyone else lol
-She is still wearing most of her 3 month stuff but 3-6 is better so we're slowing packing up 3 month stuff.
-She still loves her sunglasses! She likes wearing bows too!
-Her feet are fascinating! She holds them in the air all the time and just stares at them!
-She's getting better at tummy time but still not on the favorite list
More later... I am tired!
