Bailey started crawling on the 29th! We were across the street at our neighbor's house and she really wanted a toy and just started crawling!! Since then she has also been walking everywhere.. not alone but from furniture to furniture, toy to toy and she pushes her little stroller all over the house! She is on the go big time and doesn't want me to hold her much at all! That part makes me sad but I am loving watching her move around! I had to set up the pack n play in the bedroom now so I can take showers or get ready without her getting into things she shouldn't! My biggest concern in the bedroom is the dresser drawers, she has already pinched her finger once but luckily I was right there and grabbed it before it squished all the way but it still made her cry :( I also hate her crawling on the bathroom floor. I keep it clean but I still think of it as being icky and of course I worry about her hitting her head on the hard floor. She is pretty steady on her feet and is balancing without holding anything for short periods. She will take off walking any day now I'm sure! Eeeek!
At 10 months Bailey...
-is nursing 4-5 times a day and none at night. My goal is to have her weaned by 12-13 months!
-is sleeping 12 straight hours at night (finally!!) and napping twice a day for 1-2 hours.
-loves to eat! She eats 3 meals a day (when I eat) and a couple snacks. A few faves include, cheese sandwiches, baked potatoes, mac 'n' cheese, beans, pears, bananas, breakfast breads and muffins, and chocolate! (she only gets little tastes of chocolate but she starts freaking out if she sees anyone eating anything chocolate.. oh no!)
-is drinking water with meals out of a cup with straw (the baby ones).
-loves bath time!
-has two teeth on the bottom. We have been brushing them at bath time! She gets all excited when I get the tooth brush out!
-is saying "mama" and "dada", "baba", "ohhhhh" (means "uh oh"), "oh oh oh" (when a dog barks) and a few other sounds!
