Not that that means anything but it's exciting none the less! If she doesn't come on her own in the next week or week in a half then I will be induced which I would like to avoid but one way or another we will have a baby in the next two weeks!! I am super swollen and didn't even realize how much until I attempted to put on my wedding rings and they wouldn't go past my knuckles :( I have been living in flip flops the past week or two and then today I put on some shoes since its a little cooler and my feet were popping out so I went back to my flip flops! I know I will shrink but its a little depressing, I feel like this is the new me and I will never fit in things again! Ahhh so ready to have this little girl!!! My Mom and Dad get here day after tomorrow!! I can't wait! I just have this feeling that if I go into labor on my own that it will be in the middle of the night! It would be nice I guess because Patrick will be home. So many thoughts on my mind! I finally started putting my bag together yesterday and made my list of everything to throw in last minute so I feel pretty ready just waiting on my parents to get here then I will be completely ready and just waiting on Bailey!
How far along? 39 weeks.. woo hoo!!
How big is baby? 7-7 1/2 lbs it says but who knows!
Weight gain? 40-ish. I really haven't gained any the last couple weeks but I have gotten more swollen
Maternity clothes? Blah!! Only a couple more weeks and then I hopefully will be able to wear a few other things!
Stretch marks? no new ones
Sleep? After my couple sleepy days last week I went back to not sleeping again. I take a mid morning nap most days which I hate but it's the best sleep I get so I just sleep when I'm tired for now to rest up!
Best moment this week? getting our la-z-boy for the nursery!
Movement? a lot less movement this week which has made me nervous! I have really had to pay attention to feel her.
Food cravings? not really. I have been eating a lot of strawberry pop tarts this week
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs? A few braxton hicks but none in the past two days... wish I was feeling them b/c then I would feel like I was closer!

What I miss? sleeping on my belly!
What I am looking forward to? My Mom and Dad getting here on Monday!!

Getting nervous
It is becoming more and more real that in a couple short weeks ( maybe less) I will have a baby girl that will need all of my attention. I am definitely over being pregnant and ready to feel like me again but am starting to get nervous about the fact that life is about to change forever! Of course I am super excited about being a mommy but hoping it doesn't change who I am too much. We are so used to it just being the two of us and doing whatever we want when we want to do it. Since we got married we have lived away from family and friends and so we have spent most of time hanging out together and now we are adding a new member to our little family and that is exciting and scary at the same time! I'm sure these are all normal thoughts of a 38 1/2 week prego lady but it's consuming my mind!
To pass the time and in an attempt to keep my mind occupied during the day while I'm home alone I am doing crafts! I have been making some headband bows and flowers for Bailey and I'm doing a couple little Easter projects too :) My feet are swollen and sore so I'm trying to keep them up but I really want to be cleaning and baking! I want some brownies! The house isn't dirty just cluttered and I want to re-organize the guest bedroom but I just need to wait! My Mom will be here next week and she will be able to help me do a few of these things I HAVE to do before Bailey gets here and the rest will have to wait until after she is born. I know I going to want to spend all of my time snuggling with her but I am also really looking forward to the family being here to hold her some so I can have a little ME time even if it's just to take a shower and shave my legs with ease haha! I have plenty of ME time now but can't do anything comfortably so that is the part I'm looking forward to! I am also super excited to sleep on my belly!!! Since my Mom will be staying with us for a couple weeks and Patrick will be off for 10 days I am planning to take advantage of them being here to get some sleep!

super tired...
For the past two days I have just been exhausted! I have been sleeping good at night and taking naps during the day! I don't know if it's my body's way of saying you need some sleep or if it's a sign that labor is near!?!? There is a full moon tonight! I have been taking it easy for the most part but I have had a few busy days this week. We went la-z-boy shopping one day this week and picked out a rocker/recliner that Gahbe is getting for the nursery! Did I say that is my last blog?? Can't remember! St. Patty's Day was Thursday, my friend came over to hang out with me and brought her 6 week old son :) it was fun hanging out with them! When Patrick got home we painted my belly with a big shamrock and then went out to Ale House for dinner! We watched everyone else drink green beer. Next year my friend and I are going to make green apple juice for the little ones and green beer for ourselves! I'm already looking forward to it! Yesterday Patrick's shop had a baby shower for us and one other couple! It was very nice and fun to meet the people he works with! I wasn't able to take any pictures since cameras and phones aren't allowed in the building. After the shower we went back to la-z-boy and bought the chair! It will be ready Thurs or Fri for us to pick up... I am so excited!! It is going to be huge in her nursery but there is no room in our living room for it so until we move it will be in the nursery. I woke up this morning for a while but then took a nap that lasted half the day. It felt so nice to sleep! I finally got up when the time warner guy came to install our cable and phone line. We have had Directv for years now but TWC was offering a deal we couldn't pass up so we switched. It's going to be so nice to pay so much less a month! I ran a couple errands this afternoon and got a cabinet for the kitchen at Target then came home and made chicken enchiladas for dinner (my fav!) while Patrick built it. While he had his drill out we hung some little shelves I had for the nursery and I packed the diaper bag for the hospital! I still need to pack my hospital bag which I will do tonight if I get another energy spurt or maybe tomorrow.. we'll see! Well here is my update for this week...

How big is baby? 7-7 1/2 lbs according to the similac website. I was talking to my Doc about it the other day b/c everyone that has been guessing has been guessing 8 lbs or over and she said she might have to guess the same thing if I make it all the way (or past) my due date. Ahh! I was hoping she would be 6-7 lbs! Weight gain? 40 ish depending on the time a day. I have not gained any the last three weeks on the Dr. office scale so thats good!
Maternity clothes? I really don't what to say here anymore.. I hate hate hate all of my maternity clothes adn can't wait to be out of them! My new pair of jeans I got a couple weeks ago are actually too big but it's better than the ones that are too small!
Stretch marks? no new ones
Sleep? well the last two nights have been amazing! I have also gotten to nap some during the day which I actually hate but I know I need the extra rest and it has been fun to enjoy sleep! I think she has dropped so low now that the pressure that was making it impossible for me to sleep is not as bad now.
Best moment this week? I have to say enjoying sleep!
Movement? It's different movement now
Food cravings? fruit, fruit, fruit! Watermelon, strawberries, pineapple, grapes and bananas! I haven't been able to find any good strawberries yet though so I keep looking!

Another day down
Each day that passes is one day closer to meeting my little Bailey! We decided on a middle name for her yesterday! Bailey Allison <3 That is one less thing for me to worry about now so I am already feeling more relaxed! I finished my last sewing project today which also takes a load off because now I am completely done working until I decide I'm ready to take orders again! At my re-check appt with my OB on Monday my blood pressure was good and all my blood work came back normal so nothing to worry about but she still has me taking it easy just to be on the safe side. I am super bored just sitting around most of the day though. I'm trying to do a little house cleaning each day without over doing it! We took down my sewing table tonight.. the dining room looks so huge! haha!
So the bigger I have gotten the harder it is for me to sleep which makes it harder for Patrick to sleep so he slept in the guest room last night and he will probably be sleeping in there until shes's born at least on week nights. It's so sad :( I miss him! I don't want to go to bed now because he's not in there! I tucked him and Hershey in a little bit ago so now I am killing time watching tv and playing on the computer until I get more tired or else there is no way I will fall asleep alone.

Woo Hoo.. Full Term!!
Yep, I'm full term today! No signs that she's any sooner to coming out though. I had an appt on Thurs with my OB and there is no more progress yet. My blood pressure was high so they wanted me to take it easy over the weekend and go back Monday to be re-checked. I have been to CVS three times and Wal-Mart once since then to check it myself and the first time was high but the last three times it has been back to normal so hopefully I will have a good check Monday and be good to go until she decides to come out on her own! I would LOVE for her to come early but really don't want to have to be induced or put on bed rest! I have been wanting pineapple so we bought one the other night and I ate the whole thing so Patrick is cutting up another one for me now :) Supposedly it will induce labor but it hasn't worked! I finished two purses this morning because I couldn't sleep so I just have one more order to make and then I will be all done sewing until after baby gets here! Soo excited to put my sewing things away and get my house cleaned! I will really feel ready for her to arrive then! We went to La Z Boy on Thursday to pick out a rocker/recliner for the nursery! I was just going to just get a glider but Gahbe wanted to buy us a la z boy so I'm not complaining! We are going back to buy it next weekend!! Ok here is my update....

Weight gain? I'm going to say around 40.. I feel like I've gained some this week!
Maternity clothes? blah! Sooo sick of maternity clothes!

Sleep? ehh.. some nights! I have a lot of trouble getting comfortable and wake up a lot to pee or for any reason really..
Best moment this week? I can't actually remember much of this week.. weird I know but I am at a loss. I know I ran a lot of errands but can't think of what else I did!
Movement? Normal movement all week.
Food cravings? this week I have wanted peanut butter and banana sandwiches, pudding and pineapple... not all together but those have been my favs!
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs? no... boo!

What I miss? everything about not being pregnant!
What I am looking forward to? My Mom getting here!!!

So as I was reading the update from last week and filling in this weeks I saw I was going shopping last weekend... I totally forgot about that! We had a lot of fun and I checked almost everything off of my list!! The nursery is done for the most part just want to get a little trash can and laundry hamper but not the huge ones so I am still looking! When we were at the big Babies R Us in Raleigh I fell in love with a little purple and white dress that I want to be her Easter dress but it was $29.00 which I thought was a little much for a dress she will only wear once but I haven't stopped thinking about it all week so I might have to go get it! Hope they have it at the tiny Babies R Us here or I will be super bummed!! I don't know why they don't have Easter dresses in NB size most places. I have found so many cute ones but they are all 3 mos and up so when they had the little purple one I just melted and could kick myself for not buying it!!

It's almost time!!
So even though I only created this blog to do my pregnancy updates I so wish I took the time to blog about other things but I just never have the patiences to do so. Maybe eventually I will! Who knows. Anyway here it my update...
How far along? 36 weeks
How big is baby? probably already around 6 lbs!
Weight gain? between 35-40. I was hoping to stay under 35 but theres just not much I can do about it!
Maternity clothes? I went to a second hand shop the other day and found two tops and a pair of jeans that are pretty cute and will help get me through the last few weeks without spending a lot more $ on maternity clothes!
Stretch marks? no new ones and the ones I did get are already fading with the cream I got so I am hopeful!
Sleep? it's so frustrating b/c I have this one spot at the top of my stomach that goes numb or just hurts so bad sometimes that I am not comfortable in any position and last night it woke me up about 5-6 times. Grr!
Best moment this week? washing all of her clothes and putting the away! Everything is so tiny!
Movement? I had a scare this week.. she wasn't moving one day so I drank pepsi, ate candy and did a kick count for a hour and still nothing so I called the Dr's office and the nurse had me drink two more glasses of pepsi and lay on my left side for an hour and count again and by the end of the hour she had moved some but still not up to her normal active self I don't know what was going on!
Food cravings? I actually am not hungry that offten and never feel like eating but of course I am still eating and I want chick fil A when I do want to eat!
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs? no but at my Dr visit this week she told me I am 70% effaced so I got excited about that!
Belly button in or out? still in but pushed out a little
What I miss? everything about not being pregnant! I tried to paint my toes last night and it was just an epic fail!
What I am looking forward to? holding my baby girl! Also, shopping tomorrow! I am going to Raleigh to hopefully finish all of the last minute shopping for her!
Milestones? I'm going to go with being 70% effaced! I know it doesn't mean I'm any closer to delivery but it's nice to know I'm making a little progress!
