Come out Bailey!!

I am sooo ready for her to get here and not be pregnant anymore!! We took our breastfeeding and birthing classes this week and went on a tour of the hospital! It is realy nice! I'm excited.. well as excited as someone can be for labor and delivery! I'm not actually looking forward to that part but it's the only way to get her out! hah! I started a craft project last night for Bailey's room.. I hope it turns out! I'm going to start washing her clothes and sheets, pack the hospital bags and install the car seat then I will really be ready! I have 5 more orders to do and send out then I will be taking a break from sewing for a few months!

How far along? 35 weeks and 1 day
How big is baby? well the similac website says she should be around 5 1/2-6 lbs and close to 18 inches long but I feel like that is pretty big when I still have 5 weeks to go so I don't know if I believe that! She sure feels big now though!
Weight gain? still avoiding the scale for the most part but I'm sure around 35ish lbs :-/
Maternity clothes? don't even fit me good at this point and I so don't want to but more!
Stretch marks? no changes
Sleep? some nights!
Best moment this week? getting the classes out of the way!
Movement? yep, shes a little mover... always rolling around
Food cravings? just sweets and fruit!
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs? none
Belly button in or out? still in but pushed out a little
What I miss? everything about not being pregnant!
What I am looking forward to? having her!!

34 weeks

I haven't taken one this week yet I'm slacking!

Another week down...

This was a great week! We started the week with some of our best friends visiting from FL and ended the week with my mom and sister here! We had our last baby shower yesterday hosted by some amazing friends and it was so much fun getting to see so many faces I haven't seen since my bridal shower.. 3 years ago!! It's a reunion everytime I have a major life event! I love it! My family is still here and we are going to head over to the beach soon to take some maternity pictures!!! Hoping is warms up juusst a little bit as we get closer to noon so I don't freeze my belly off in the beach air! My mom has completely spoiled me (and Bailey) this weekend! I got a video camera for my birthday to take lots of videos of Bailey for the grandparents who won't get to see here everyday and after the shower yesterday we went shoppping and got a ton of things we still needed for the nursery!! I had so much fun building things and opening all of Bailey's new goodies with Mom and Nikki last night I don't want them to leave!!! Here is my update for this week....

How far along? 34 weeks and 1 day
How big is baby? around 5 1/2 lbs and 12 1/2 inches long!
Weight gain? I have started avoiding the scale but I believe around 30 lbs at this point
Maternity clothes? Blah! Sooo ready to get back to normal clothes!! My little dress for the shower turned out pretty cute but it was quite restricting which made opening presents difficult and required two assistants!
Stretch marks? no new marks
Sleep? it just deoends on the night! Last night I slept better than I had in a weeks but I was up for 3 hours the night before and slept part of the night on the couch so I think I was just so exhausted!
Best moment this week? There were a few... our baby shower for one but I think my favorite time was last night.. playing in the nursery with mom and Nikki!
Movement? she has been hanging out on my right side and kicking my ribs!
Food cravings? ehh I wouldn't say I have any cravings right now..
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs? none lately
Belly button in or out? still in but pushed out a little

Milestones? every week feels like a milestone to me right now.. I am so excited and ready

Getting closer!

How far along? 33 weeks!
How big is baby? around 4 1/2 lbs and 12 inches according to the similac website but my baby progress on FB says she is 17 inches already so I don't really know!
Weight gain? I don't think I have gotten on a scale at all this week so we'll stick with 26 until next week!
Maternity clothes? I went and got an outfit to wear to my baby shower this weekend and my grandma sent me a new top and pair of stretch pants :)
Stretch marks? no new marks. I got a stretch cream from Avon that is supposed to be amazing so I am hoping it will help with the ones I got!! I am on day 2 of it so far so we'll see!!
Sleep? some nights but still waking up to pee a lot and I don't sleep good when Patrick's not home!
Best moment this week? This was a good week... I got to meet baby Carter and also have some of my best friends up from FL and they surprised me today with an early b-day cake and presents!
Movement? oh yes.. she moves all the time. She has been stuck over on my far right side the past couple days and it is actually hurting me some! I feel like she may be closer to the 17 inches rather than the 11 but I don't know!
Food cravings? I just wants sweets
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs? none lately

What I miss? just being comfortable!
What I am looking forward to? My mom and sister coming... 6 days!

Wide awake

It is 1am and I would LOVE to be sleeping but I don't seem to be able to sleep most nights :( usually it's because I'm uncomfortable or have acid reflux or something but tonight I was perfectly comfortable but my mind started going crazy and I had to get back up and find a distraction so I wouldn't start crying or have a  panic attack! As I get closer to my due date I am thinking more and more about the delivery and bringing her home etc.. and then it hit me tonight that all of our family is going to be coming up which is wonderful and I want them all here so that they can all be part of this wonderful time but the thought running through my head is.. where are we all going to fit?? My house is not big enough to host everyone and I'm afraid I am going to feel so overwhelmed with such a houseful right when I come home. My in-laws are planning to stay in a hotel since we only have one guest room now with the nursery but during the day everyone will be here and I'm sure it will be perfectly wonderful but for some reason I started feeling really anxious about it. I so wish we were still in our townhouse and had more space so everyone won't be so cramped! This is one of the hard parts of being military is living so far from family. When big life events happen such as having a baby everyone is going to come all at once! If we were in FL of course everyone would come to the hospital but then we would go home to our house and have visitors one at a time or one family at a time. Oh well! I'm sure it will all work out just fine. I'm just over thinking things as usual I'm sure. 

I think I will eat a snack and try to go to sleep! A little facebook and blogging has calmed me down I think so hopefully I will be able to sleep now!

How far along? 32 weeks and 2 days!
How big is baby? around 4 lbs 11 1/2  inches :)
Weight gain? still at 26 lbs
Maternity clothes? I bought a new pair of black stretchy pants this weekend for something different! I have to shop this week though for something to wear to my shower next weekend!
Stretch marks? same as before.. none on my belly but a few on my hips and butt :(
Sleep? ehh... I have been having bad dreams or something.. I wake up scared with every sound.. not sure why!? Maybe to much criminal minds!
Best moment this week? umm not sure? Nothing jumps out from this week!
Movement? she has been extremely active the past few days! She moves all day long!
Food cravings? I've been wanting different things so I've been looking up new recipes to try some new things

Tired of winter!!

Today I am having a I wish I was in California day! It seems like more and more of my friends are moving out there and I want to go too!! If it wasn't for being pregnant that is where we would be right now. :-/ We chose to stay closer to family but I just can't let go of the dream! I have some really great friends here in NC but I really don't get to see any of them.. everyone's lives are so busy! I'm thinking it might be better to live closer to the base to have some military wives to hang out with! I get so bored when Patrick's working! Some days it doesn't bother me especially when I'm busy sewing but days like today even when I had plenty of sewing to do I just didn't feel like it and I was so bored and wanted to be in warmer weather with girlfriends to hang out with!! Blah!! Guess I'm just having one of those days...

It got better when Patrick got home.. we went to cici's for dinner! I have been craving their mac 'n' cheese pizza for a week now so I was pretty excited! It was yummy!! I ate too much though so I am letting it digest now before I do some sewing!
