It's 2011! Year of Bailey's arrival! I am very anxious to meet her! We have our first baby shower tomorrow with our family and friends in FL! I'm excited about that! It is early but we won't be home anymore before she is born. We have had a very relaxing week at home and now we will be heading back to NC in a couple days. It's bitter/sweet because I love being in our own home even though I don't feel like home yet in our new house but I always hate leaving FL and our family. I need to get back though and start making the house feel like home! Not sure yet how I am going to do that but it has to happen I hate feeling like I'm just staying in someone else's house! We have just today decided that we might try to move onto base when our lease is up. There are pros and cons to it but at the moment I like the pros and feel like I can deal with the cons! We have 11 months before that will happen so plenty of time and much more important things happening between now and then! I've just been so frustrated with this house since day 1 and frustrated with the rental company also.. I just want out! Can't do much about it now except complain so that is what I am doing but I will get over it and be fine I'm sure!
Here is my baby update for this week!
How far along? 27 weeks.. one more week and I will be in my third trimester!
How big is baby? around 2 lbs!
Weight gain? well still haven't gotten on the scale much since we've been in FL but my guess would be about 18 lbs or so now.... yikes!
Maternity clothes? My mom bought me a pretty pink sweater that I am going to wear tomorrow for the shower!
Stretch marks? still none!
Sleep? I have gotten a lot of good sleep all week!
Best moment this week? being around family and friends and seeing their excitement for Bailey!
Movement? Oh my goodness she is a busy little thing!
Food cravings? back to mexican this week!
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs? not entirely sure but I think I have had a little bit of braxton hicks the past couple of days. I have felt some all over tightness kind of like a charlie horse in my belly and it will last a few seconds and then ease up
Belly button in or out? still in! Looking a little different though..
What I miss? I'm back to missing my body again! I guess that never goes away but sometimes I don't mind as much as others!
What I am looking forward to? Our first Baby Shower tomorrow!
