8 months!

Bailey is 8 months and 3 days now! She LOVES to stand! She hold on to the couch and plays with whatever is on it. She isn't crawling yet but is just starting to show a little interest in getting places so maybe soon. Right now she rolls to get where she wants to go. She is finally eating baby food 3-4 times a day and still eating bites off my plate. She isn't feeding herself yet, we're still working on that but she has gotten good at her sippy cup with the straw! She hasn't quite figured out how to use the one without the straw but she tries really hard! She plays well by herself for periods of time when she has something holding her interest. I have been trying to sew a lot to finish up all of my orders so she has had to learn to entertain herself while I sew. Today she fell asleep on the floor beside me which was the sweetest thing! She was playing and rolling around and then stopped and was just watching me and the next thing I knew she was sleeping. She plays peek-A-boo! Aunt Nikki taught her that game when she visited about 3 weeks ago. She thinks it's so funny! She thinks a lot of things are funny actually, she laughs at me and Hershey all the time! Of course when I do something that makes her laugh I do it over and over again until it is no longer funny. It's just so fun to hear her laugh!

Sleeping around here is still a problem but tonight I decided maybe she's suffering with some acid reflux at night again because she spit up tonight when she woke up and she doesn't really ever spit up anymore so I gave her some of her meds and I'm hoping that helps! If it works and she starts sleeping at night life will be so wonderful! Right now she has been waking up every 1-3 hours all night long and I honestly don't know why? I'm sure teething plays a role (she is cutting two teeth on the bottom!) but I have been giving her tylenol and teething tablets so you would think it would be relieving some of the pain so I feel like there's something else waking her up. She always takes a full feeding but I know she can go longer and should be going all night! During the day now that she is eating more solids she is breastfeeding every 3-4 hours.

Bailey, Hershey and I have been walking everyday this past week! I can feel the difference in my legs and Bailey loves to watch Hersh walk next to her. Hershey always gets spoiled when we leash walk her on a regular basis so now as usual she is barking by the door everyday until we go and then usually a few hours later to go again. That part is annoying.

Patrick was in the field the past two weeks, it was a little preview of what this upcoming deployment will be like I suppose. We do well routine wise when he's gone but of course we miss him and since I don't know anyone here yet I don't have any interaction with adults when he's gone. I am hoping to get our and make some friends in Jan once I'm done sewing and the holiday's have past.
